Sri Lanka – Part 3 – Hill Country

Leaving Tissamajarama and Yala National Park we headed towards Nuwara Elijah via Ella, two very popular destinations in Sri Lanka. This area is the hill country in central Sri Lanka and with cooler temperatures it is known for tea, spices and vegetable plantations. Most of the population in Sri Lanka is still Agrarian but in recent years there has been an increase in migration to the larger cities.

I love to travel, solo or together with friends. I’m writing this blog in part to remind myself of where I’ve been and what I’ve enjoyed about this wonderful world of ours, and in part I hope to help other travellers by sharing my experiences. I’m happy to be contacted for further information and appreciate your following my blog.

  1. That man was keeping an eye on you filming with karaoke lol. Beautiful scenery, but weirdly dated clothing for the high tea server.
